Let work together, and raise voice to reduce mortality rate attributed to chronic diseases.

Globally, 63% of average 60 million deaths reported annually are due to chronic diseases. In developing countries (like Rwanda), that percentage could be as high as 80% with cardiovascular diseases as the leading cause of death.

Lack of medical follow up, education to patients, and uncompiled data from multiple doctors could be the challenges behind that high mortality rate in those patients.

Sadly, this area is least invested in. However, the burden of chronic illnesses has potential to increase significantly. If no intervention made we shall expect shorter life span.
